Avro’s bid to capture the Manchester Premier Cup for the first time since 1942 ultimately ended in disappointment, as they narrowly lost out on penalties after the two sides had failed to break the deadlock over the ninety minutes.

It is with great sadness that Avro Football Club announce the decision of manager Alex Frost and assistant manager Phil Edghill to step down from their roles at the end of the season.
The Ro kept alive their chance of a play off place last week with four points out of six, and these two players were key to their success. Liam Ellis and David Fitzpatrick will now enjoy either a hyperbaric oxygen therapy session or an infra red sauna, thanks to @YourHealthBank.
