Dom Smalley is the latest player to confirm that he will be back for Avro FC’s 2024/2025 campaign.
He will join his brother Deane in our upcoming season under the new management team of Norton and Birch.
After playing for The RO in our junior sides as a 14 and 15-year-old, Dom signed on for Avro at the beginning of last season in our senior squad.
He has previously played for clubs including Ramsbottom, Salford, Ashton, Chester, Hyde and Wythenshawe.
“My favourite moment was Kane Wallwork’s goal against Radcliffe, it was the best goal I’ve ever seen,” said Dom.
The effort by Wallwork was awarded best goal of the season by the league.
“Due to injury, i have no personal favourite moments but this season coming hopefully that will change,” said Dom.
“I have decided to return for the new season because I love the club, players, fans and staff.
“We have an unbelievable atmosphere around the place, and long may it continue.
“Up the RO!”
