A Liam Ellis penalty just before the interval ensured that Avro were able to come from behind to record a third victory in five at the end of another entertaining chapter in their preseason schedule.
The hosts had the upper hand in the early stages, with Vani Da Silva breaking clear down the right after just three minutes before delivering a low cross which eluded everyone, and Joe Rathbone stinging the palms of the Lower Breck keeper with the first shot on target for either side.
However, it was the visitors who went in front on 16 minutes, when Tom McNamara found space 25 yards out and curled a beautiful left foot effort into the top corner.
Avro equalised just past the half hour mark, when Brad Sullivan capitalised on a defensive error and then delivered an inch perfect cross from the right for Muis Bibire Bello to chest home at the far post.
And it was Bibire Bello who also played a key role in the winner, with a lovely piece of skill in the area which drew a foul from the visiting defender, and Ellis smashed home the spot kick to complete the turnaround.
Both Ellis and substitute Anthony Sheridan hit the woodwork in the second period and a Rathbone header from a Bibire Bello cross was inches wide of the post, but ultimately the near misses did not prove to be costly as another strong defensive performance secured a second win of the week at the Vestacare Stadium.
