Harry Bunn signs for Avro!

Avro are delighted to announce the signing of Harry Bunn.

Harry joined Manchester City in 2001, scoring 20 goals for both City’s U18 and U21 teams. This impressive campaign led to him being named academy scholar of the year. In 2011, Harry was promoted to the club’s elite development squad where he had chances with the first team having featured in their pre-season campaign.

Next up, in search of regular first team football, Harry went out on loan for various clubs. These loans included spells at Rochdale, Preston North End, Oldham Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town. Harry earnt valuable game time across the football league through these loan spells. In a 3-2 win against Wycombe Wanderers, Harry scored on his debut for Preston North End before being recalled from his loan shortly after.

After being released by Manchester City in January 2014, Harry signed a permanent deal with Huddersfield Town. He made his debut for The Terriers in a 4-2 defeat against Blackburn Rovers. Harry enjoyed a successful spell at Huddersfield Town where he made 91 appearances for the club in the championship, finding the net 15 times.

After leaving Huddersfield Town, Harry made the permanent move to Bury. He made his debut for Bury in August 2017, in a 1-0 loss against Sunderland in the first round of the league cup.

After departing Bury, Harry had spells at Kilmarnock, York City and Scunthorpe United. Most recently being at Hyde United in the Northern Premier League.
