Ahead of our Northern Premier League West Play-Off Final with Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday, we also caught up with Jack Morrow as he provided his thoughts on another Play-Off campaign with The Ro and what being named club captain this season means to him.

After being one of the longest servants at the club, how proud were you to be awarded captaincy for this season?
- I was absolutely buzzing when Shents sat me down and asked me to be his captain. It’s a massive privilege to be club captain and I’m very proud to be it.
How much have you enjoyed playing under the management of Grant Shenton and the squad as a whole?
- This year has been unbelievable under Shents. I think as a team we’ve reaped the rewards of all the hard work him & the coaching staff put in at training and match days.
After you were a big part of our previous Play-Off promotion, how excited are you to hopefully make it another promotion on your record?
- I’m excited to hopefully have another promotion with the club as these are the things you work towards. The big games like play off finals are the ones that you’ll always remember.
