We are delighted to be able to confirm that talented centre half Jack Kenny has signed for Conference North side Chester.
Grant Shenton had this to say about the move:
‘When I sat down with Jack at the start of last season, he had clear goals. He wanted to play as much as possible, compete in a side pushing at the top end of the league and ultimately earn the opportunity to move back into full time football.
‘I promised Jack that if he was willing to work hard and fully commit, I would give him the opportunity and environment to help him achieve those goals.’
‘Jack turned down offers with more money elsewhere to come with us. Some people on the outside might not see how big that is, but for me it showed trust, ambition and character. He backed himself and he backed us.’
