Avro Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Djavan Pedro from Salford City.
A highly rated youngster, he joins on an initial one month work experience loan. He is a forward who has been described as fast and tenacious, and has recently spent time on loan at City of Liverpool, scoring a wonderful header on his debut against Runcorn Linnets. He played five games for the club before the conclusion of his month-long loan.
The 18-year-old has also impressed for Salford City Under 18s, with his stoppage time volley securing a win against Rochdale in the FA Youth Cup.
Joint Manager, Lee O’Brien had high praise for Pedro; “He’s a young and hungry local player, he’s had experience in the league above and is a good addition to the squad.”
Djavan is eligible for our game away at Runcorn Town on Monday.
