Winger Kuda Chingwaro has become the fourth new signing of the summer as our squad begins to take shape ahead of the season opener in the FA Cup extra preliminary round on Saturday 5th August.
Chingwaro began his semi-professional career at Barnoldswick Town before moving on to Northwich Victoria midway through last season. He made his debut for the Ro last night on the left side of our midfield.
Manager Alex Frost had this to say about the latest addition to the squad:
‘Kuda has played against us a number of times over the last few seasons, and he has always impressed me. He is a young man who is keen to improve himself and is prepared to work really hard to make that happen, so I am very optimistic about his prospects of adapting to a higher level of football than he has been used to playing.’
‘He has also had an excellent goal-scoring record in the North West Counties League, and we are confident that he will bring that attacking threat with him into step 4.’
