Former Latics striker Vani Da Silva has become the third new face to commit to the Ro for the 23-24 season.
Vani first caught Oldham Athletic’s eye as a sixteen year old whilst at Bury, and thus spent the last four years with the Latics before joining us this summer. During that time, he had loan spells at Curzon Ashton, Ashton United, FC United of Manchester and Witton Albion.
Manager Alex Frost had this to stay about his latest acquisition for the forthcoming campaign:
‘Vani is a young man with tremendous potential. I think it is important that he has spent time on loan at decent non–league clubs during his time at Oldham, so he knows what this level of football is all about. We have really enjoyed working with him so far, and I am sure that there is a lot more to come from him over the next few weeks and months.’
