Club Statement – Kai Haigh

Avro Football Club would like to give an update on midfielder Kai Haigh.

Kai has been absent from the first team due to being admitted to hospital with pneumonia and blood clots in his lungs.  The club are delighted to hear that he has now left the hospital and is recovering at home.

Kai’s last involvement with the first team was at Congleton Town on 16th October, when he was an unused substitute.

Joint manager Lee O’Brien had this to say about the news: “We’re delighted Kai’s now out of the hospital, all the lads have been thinking about him and wishing him well.”

We look forward to welcoming Kai back once he is well enough to attend a game, and also hope to see him back in the Avro black and blue in the not too distant future.
