Avro begin their Play-Off campaign here at The Vestacare on Tuesday evening, 28th April, as we welcome Lower Breck looking to book a place into the final which would also be held at The Vestacare should The Ro claim victory against the Anfield outfit. After an incredible 13-0 victory at the weekend, Avro will be heading into this clash with form and high in confidence.
After being table toppers and title chasing for large periods of the campaign, Lower Breck will be satisfied with a place in the Play-Offs having being took all the way to the final day by Bootle and Vauxhall Motors. A victory on the final day secured their place here at The Vestacare and they will be looking to re-ignite their early season form into the Play-Offs.

Lower Breck:
Founded only in 2010, Lower Breck have come a long way in a short period of time and started the season in The Northern Premier League West for the first time in their history. They enjoyed success from the start and had reached the North West Counties North by 2018. After missing out on promotion during Covid through points per game, Breck were promoted to the NWCFL Premier Division in the 2020-21 season. They reached an incredible 106 points last season, narrowly beaten to the title by Bury. But after carrying on this form into the play-offs, they comfortably claimed promotion and have adjusted to life well in the NPL West. At the end of the campaign, they finished 5th and have secured a place in the Play-Off campaign as they seek back-to-back promotions.
Head to Head:
The sides have met twice this season throughout the Northern Premier League West campaign, with both encounters having contrasting performances and results. Avro cruised to a 3-0 victory in Anfield back in November thanks to goals from Jake Cottrell, Kyle Hawley and Ryley Smith. However, in the reverse fixture at The Vestacare, it was once again the away side that would control proceedings as Lower Breck took a 3-0 lead into the break. Late on in the second half, Fortune Maphosa saw his strike hit the target but it was too little too late for Avro as Breck held onto the 3-1 lead.
