Avro Football Club is delighted to announce that Max McCarthy has committed to staying with the club for the 23-24 Northern Premier League Division One West season.
Max is a young and talented centre forward who started his senior career at Congleton Town before earning a contract at Stoke City. His physicality and mobility as well as excellent first touch have meant that he has quickly become a valuable member of the squad.
Max joined the club on a dual registration basis from FC United of Manchester in January, and made an instant impression with a stunning goal on his debut against Pilkington FC.
His impressive start to his Avro career made him a key target when the squad for the upcoming campaign began to be assembled, and we are therefore very pleased to get him back on board.
We are also pleased to announce that CDC Buying has sponsored McCarthy for the upcoming campaign, whose support has played a crucial role in securing Max’s commitment to the club. The sponsorship will help ensure that he has the resources and support which he needs to continue to develop and contribute to the success of the club.
Chairman Robert Fuller gave his reaction to the announcement:
‘Max is a fantastic young player, and we are delighted that he has committed to staying with us for the upcoming campaign. He has already shown his talent and potential, and we believe he has a bright future ahead of him.’
We are also grateful to CDC Buying for their support, which has been instrumental in securing Max’s commitment to the club. We look forward to seeing Max continue to develop and make a significant contribution to our team’s success.”
With the support of companies of CDC Buying’s calibre and the commitment to the cause of talented players like Max, we firmly believe that our club is poised for an exciting and successful season in the Northern Premier League.
