Avro FC is delighted to announce that three students from our BTEC Programme have successfully completed their Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1) qualification, alongside their studies and have been appointed as lead coaches within our junior football setup.
Joseph Hall, Daniel Harrison and Zach Bennett, who have been participating in the BTEC Programme at The Vestacare Stadium, have demonstrated exceptional commitment and skill throughout their coaching development journey. Their achievement marks a significant milestone not only in their personal football education but also in the continued growth and success of Avro FC’s youth development initiatives.
Following their successful qualification, Joseph, Daniel and Zach have been entrusted with important coaching responsibilities within our junior teams. Joseph Hall will take on the role of lead coach for our Under 6’s team, Daniel Harrison will lead our Under 9’s squad, while Zach Bennett will lead our Under 11’s. These appointments reflect the club’s confidence in their abilities and commitment to nurturing young talent both on and off the pitch.
The Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1) qualification provides coaches with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to deliver safe, enjoyable, and effective football sessions for young players. The course covers essential areas including child development, basic coaching principles, session planning, and creating positive learning environments that encourage participation and skill development.
