As the festive season fast approaches, Avro Football Club is proud to announce that we are supporting Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas to help make a difference to the lives of those who may not be as fortunate as us.
We are appealing to everyone to join us in giving back to the community this Christmas by donating a gift to our collection. We want to help bring a smile to the faces of children who would otherwise go without a present on Christmas Day.
How You Can Help
It’s easy to get involved; just drop off a gift at The Vestacare Stadium during midweek opening hours or at either of the first team fixtures taking place on the 9th and 16th December. We are hoping to receive as many donations as possible to make a difference in the lives of many children in our community.
To ensure that gifts are given to those who need them most in time for Christmas, the deadline to drop off at The Vestacare Stadium will be Saturday, 16 December 2023.
Join Us for a Free Hot Drink
As an incentive, anyone who donates a gift will be given a voucher to claim a FREE HOT DRINK at our first team fixture on Saturday 16th December against Prescot Cables. So not only will you be helping a great cause, but you’ll also be able to enjoy a complimentary hot drink while cheering on the team.

Operations Director Charlie O’Brien said: “We are honoured to be able to support Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas and give back to the community in any way we can. This is a brilliant cause, and we hope to make a real difference to the lives of children who are less fortunate than ourselves.”
Head of Safeguarding Amy Arthur also commented: “Avro Football Club is proud to be part of the community, and we believe that it is essential to give back to those who may be struggling. We hope that our support of Cash for Kids, Mission Christmas will bring some joy to the children who receive the presents.”
